STOMPer Ronald was driving along the ECP when suddenly, a fleet of expensive cars zoomed past him. The STOMPer estimates there were about 15 of them, travelling at 120 kilometres per hour.
Said the STOMPer:
"I was driving along the ECP on 19th Feb, 2012, at around 1am between Changi Airport and the Bedok exit.
"I was driving at around 90 kph on the inner lane, when all of a sudden, I heard the sound of loud exhaust pipes, and a bunch of expensive racing cars zoomed by.
"From the video, you can see these cars speeding along the ECP, overtaking various cars on the inner and outer lanes.
"As I was traveling at the maximum allowed speed, i.e. 90 kph already, those cars must be traveling at around 120 kph.
"There seemed to be around 15 of those cars, and as there were so many of them, all zooming away, it seemed they were racing along the ECP.
"I hope the Police would monitor the situation over the coming few weekends and apprehend these drivers..."

On another note, if the governments around the world really wanted to stop speeding, they could. Just a simple legislation needs to be passed in parliament that all vehicle manufacturers need to electronically limit new cars to 90km/h and if anyone tampers with the limitation, it is a serious violation of the law and voids your warranty too or something. Existing cars can be required to fit such a limiter prior to their next annual LTA inspection. Ain't gonna happen. People don't buy Lamborghini's, Ferrari's etc. just for the 0-100(or in Singapore context 0-90)acceleration.
