STOMPer CCTV has noticed a marked difference in our trains -- commuters have taken to leaving reserved seats clear for those who need it more.
The STOMPer wrote:
"This is the result of all the cases of people being STOMPed for sitting in reserved seats.
"In recent months I notice this 'effect'.
"People might be guilty, or conscious of being 'caught' for 'unauthorized sitting', and no longer occupy the reserved seat anymore.
"A child, who boarded the train from Ang Mo Kio alighted at Bishan and asked her mother, 'Mummy, why nobody sit there?'
"Her mom replied: 'When you sit you must smile, this seats are not meant for normal humans.'
"The surprised child reply: 'Mummy is it for ghosts?'
"The rest of the conversation I did not hear as they had alighted. Deep in my heart, I was laughing away. Is that the correct way to teach a child?"
