Cybersecurity Malaysia’s forensic digital senior analyst Mohd Zabri Aidil Talib, 28, told the High Court this here today.
He said he could detect the vehicle’s movement on Oct 19, 2006 at 7.14pm and 40 seconds using “forensic video CCTV” which was capable of showing a clear image and identify the characteristics of a vehicle.
By using the equipment also, he could see the windscreen stickers, spotlights, fog lamps and roof of the vehicle which were consistent with those of Sirul’s jeep, he said.
Those characteristics were not found on other vehicles recorded by the same camera, he said.
“I found two four-wheel-drive vehicles which passed through the same toll plaza which were not consistent and did not match Sirul’s,” he said during the examination-in-chief by Deputy Public Prosecutor Tun Abdul Majid Tun Hamzah.
Zabri is the 49th prosecution witness in the trial for the murder of the 28-year-old Mongolian woman which entered its 56th day today.
Sirul, 36, and another policeman from the Special Action Unit — C/Insp Azilah Hadri, 31, — are alleged to have murdered her in a jungle in Bukit Raja here at between 10pm on Oct 19 last year and 1am the next day.
Political analyst Abdul Razak Abdullah Baginda, 47, is charged with abetting them.
The trial before Justice Datuk Mohd Zaki Md Yasin continues on Monday, November 12.
